Sounding out words

Lilly is growing up so fast, I say this all the time, but I can't hardly believe it. We are thinking about sending her to Preschool 2 days a week this coming year. As much as it makes me sad, I know she would love it. She loves learning different things every day. I work with her quite a bit, but I know they'd do different activities than I know to. We'll see, we're still weighing our options.

Anyway, she recognizes her letters and has for quite a while now. Now she is putting the sound with the letters and she seems to figure a lot of this out on her o

wn. She asks me all day long what this or that starts with. So we sound it out and usually she gets it on her own. Sometimes she'll say like Apple starts with "A", or Ball starts with "B" and so on. I love watching her learn and figure things out on her own. It amazes me daily how smart my little girlie is!

She loves her "School" board. Parker was enjoying snacks why we were working on her new board. :)
